NATURAL HAIR STROKE
COLOR WASH BROW
The "color wash" brow was born after watching body tattoo artist create beautiful, softly diffused shading on the body. Pigment is implanted in such a way as to immitate a powdered eye brow pencil. This procedure is meant to fade after 12 - 18 months so touch up applications can be altered and change with the clients own face. This technique, when performed by a skilled technician is gentle and can be repeated every year or so without risk of scarring. All skin tones are suitable for this application.
The "Natural Hairstroke" brow is the evolution of the original Vietnamese "embroidery" technique but instead of lacerating the skin with a needle-like blade, wispy individual hairs are created using a flat needle configuration. This is the least enduring techinique for the lighter colored pigments like blonde and light brown. Best candidate is a pale complexioned client with dark brow hair. Be forewarned that repetitive touch ups will eventually look shaded and some clients will experience "pigment expansion" and the original procedure will be quite different when healed.
A "classic upper and lower" eye liner is a more defined and saturated liner look. It appears as a liquid liner would look when freshly applied but heals with a subdued or matte finish. Please note that not all eye lids are suitable for this procedure as the more vascular and mature the eyelid, the least likely it is to appear vivid and will ash or "blue out" at some point in the future. Tattooed eye liner in very dark skins will not show as well as fairer complexions. The client with opaque milky skin (no capillaries showing through the lid) will have the best outcome.
A "lash enhancement" tattoo is usually done on the upper lid only but can also be achieved on the lower lid. Pigment is placed in and slightly above the lash line. It suits the client who wants to see a naturally defined upper eye line.
